Technical Support

Many of the products sold by cashdrawers.ie may require a certain level of technical knowledge and expertise to successfully install and operate. Although all such products will come with full user manuals and documentation - which you can also download from our website - we recognize that you may sometimes require assistance.

We aim to resolve all support queries within 24 hours where possible. In many cases, issues will be resolved over the phone at the time of your initial call, or during the call back you will receive in response to an e-mailed support request. If we are unable to solve the problem at this point, your support request will be escalated and dealt with in consultation with the manufacturer of your product. We will at all times keep you informed of our progress and the estimated timeframe involved.

Where we deem the time being spent on telephone support to be excessive, we reserve the right to request payment to provide further telephone support.

Where it is deemed absolutely necessary, a technical support agent may call to your premises in order to resolve the issue. Our preferred method is to arrange for products to be shipped back to our offices where they will be assessed, tested and repaired if necessary. Upon completion of the repair, the product will be returned to you. Call out and/or shipping charges will apply in such cases.

Products found to be defective within their warranty period will be repaired or replaced at no cost (excluding any call out or shipping charges that may arise during the technical support process). The cost of repairs to products where the warranty has expired is dependent on the nature of the fault, the complexity of the repair, and the cost of any replacement parts required.
