Datalogic’s Gryphon GD4430 is simply packed with premium features designed to make it easy to use and effective. Motion sensing technology automatically determines whether to use handheld or presentation mode scanning. The steady illumination light is easier on the eye than the flickering versions found in many other scanners, while “Green Spot” technology gives a clear visual indicator when a good scan has been acquired.

The GD4430 is capable of reading 1D and 2D barcodes, as well as postal codes, stacked and composite codes. An omnidirectional scanner, it can read these codes in any direction, meaning less time is wasted lining codes up. The highly visible aiming light makes it easy to isolate a single barcode for scanning.

For convenience, the GD4430 features a USB interface, ideal for connecting to a PC or other hardware. Interfaces such as RS 232 can also be supported. Its ergonomic design makes it easy to use. It has also been drop tested to 1.8 metres and is sealed against water and particulate contamination.
