The Cobalto 5300 boasts an elegant blue "Ring of Light", which encircles the reading window. This ring will turn a bright green upon successful scans, as well as operators being notified through the Cobalto's high quality polyphonic audio speaker.

The Cobalto 5300 provides outstanding performance. The omnidirectional reading pattern of 20 lines and 1,500 scans per second provides the market's fastest 1D decoding rate and motion tolerance; key features in application that require immediate and intuitive reading. The Cobalto 5300 also boasts a trigger and rubber finish grips, allowing operators to comfortable use the device as a handheld reader for scanning large, bulky items.
