Description
The Zebra RFD8500 UHF-RFID reader transforms virtually any mobile devices, tablets and smart phones into a fully operational enterprise-class UHF RFID and optional 1D/2D bar code reader. Deployment wise, you have the option to pair this Bluetooth-enabled sled with your mobile deive and attach the mobile device to the RFD8500 for a single-handed FRID reader solution, put the mobile device in a pocket or holster and use the RFD8500 in standalone mode. The Zebra RFD8500 can be connected via Bluetooth 2.1 or later and supports Android and IOS.
If a wireless connection is unavailable, a standalone mode(batch mode) enables the collection of up to 500 bar codes and/or 40,000 RFID tags. Uploading the data from the RFD8500 to the host device can be done in a matter of seconds.
Zebra's patented AutoMac antenna design allows the RFD8500 to achieve maximum reading/writing speed, high coverage and excellend battery life for at least one shift or even during intensive usage, thanks to its unique energy-saving algorithm.
