Honeywell’s LXE Tecton MX7 industrial mobile computer provides the ideal combination of high performance and user-friendly features. This attractive mobile terminal comes complete with natural handgrip ergonomics and a sleek design for a mobile terminal. The Honeywell Tecton delivers it’s enhanced performance across a wide array of supply chain tasks. The Tecton features multi-range scanning capabilties that enable barcode reads anywhere from four inches to 40 feet, so operators can perform any number of warehouse tasks such as deliveries or full pallet put-aways with ease. With it’s IP65-rating, removable pistol grip, and turbhocharged PXA320 806MHz processor running Microsoft Windows Mobile CE 6.0 OS, the Honeywell Tecton hand-held computer is more than ready for the challenge.

The Tecton is one of the most robust handheld terminals available to date. Keypads protect against airborne and spilled chemical agents and are epoxy-tipped to fight wear. Electrical components are glued and soldered to printed circuit boards to better withstand shocks and drops. The Honeywell Tecton  as the ability to withstand multiple drops to concrete, ranging up to 1.8m. A purpose built, field-removable trigger handle provides an alternative ergonomic scanning form factor that delivers intuitive point and shoot scanning, and improved operator performance and productivity.

Also available is the Honeywell Tecton CS MX7. The Tecton CS (Cold Storage) model boasts the same great technology and ergonomics as the Tecton, with the additional benefit of cold storage functionality. The Tecton CS MX7 provides the user with large keys ideal for gloved hands, and the models are fitted with bright defroster screens, allowing the user to go from outdoors to a dark freezer without condensation. The rugged and robust Tecton CS offers a cold-storage configuration, with bright backlight and brilliant display to aid visibility in dark corners or refrigerators. The Tecton CS never needs a desiccant pack or heated boot battery change out, maximising production all year round.
